Has spring arrived?

Weather: Temperature 12°; gentle breeze from Southeast (134°) 5 m/s. Good visibility 10 km. Clouded 5/8.

Good number of birds from many species. Today’s highlight was a female munch from Holland.

A total of 78 birds identified into 18 species. 2 of them were caught with the Helgoland trap (Blåvandrusen).

For HKn and me it is always recognizable if we have weekend days. Lots of visitors today.

Thanks to Svend Bødker who brought delicious pastries. I guess more important for him will be the sighting of a western osprey (Pandion haliaetus – fiskeørn - Fischadler). The osprey flew over the station and went direction West.

Henrik Callesen saw a ring ouzel (Turdus torquatus – Ringdrossel - Ringdrossel) in the wetland (mosen).

Other visitors were Henrik Brandt, Michael G. Jensen and Finn Rhode with his family.
